Assessing Members with Asthma: The Severity/Risk Mix

Managing members with asthma is a significant challenge for many health plans. Poorly managed members exert a considerable strain on the health plan's resources.  Keeping a member's asthma in control requires an active relationship among the patient, provider, and plan. This collaboration is vital to ensure that resources are efficiently utilized and favorable clinical outcomes are achieved.
